01. 20% Deposit & Payment Milestones
To confirm your private itinerary, private MPV vehicle allocation, licensed guide assignment, and hotel hold, ChinaTravelSky requires only a 20% booking deposit.
The remaining 80% balance is not due until 14 days before your arrival in China, or upon meeting your private tour director on arrival day (depending on agreed invoicing arrangement).

03. Force Majeure & Visa Denial Guarantee
If your trip cannot take place due to an unforeseen event outside your control—including:
- Visa application rejection by Chinese embassies (for non-exempt passport holders);
- International flight cancellations by airlines without alternative routing;
- Government-mandated border restrictions or public health emergency declarations;
ChinaTravelSky guarantees a 100% full refund of your deposit upon submission of official embassy or airline documentation.
04. Zero-Shopping Compensation Guarantee
Every ChinaTravelSky tour is contractually bound to Zero Forced Shopping Stops. If any guide or driver detours your family to an unauthorized silk, jade, pearl, or tea factory against your itinerary, ChinaTravelSky will refund 100% of that day's tour fee plus provide a $200 USD family compensation credit.
05. Refund Method & Timeline
All approved refunds are initiated within 48 business hours back to the original method of payment (Stripe Credit Card, PayPal, or International Bank Wire Transfer). Depending on your bank's international settlement cycles, funds typically reflect in your account within 3 to 7 business days.
